Hello, I'm Sophie, welcome to the O'Chambon website!
It is always a pleasure to welcome people and to share my passion for this beautiful region of the Sancy.
There is something for everyone: outdoor activities, cultural visits, discovering the products of our region. Ask me and I will be happy to share my good addresses with you so that you can have a pleasant stay.
We are committed to the preservation of our environment and living space.
To reduce our environmental impact, there are simple things we can do:
- Our chickens are your neighbours! Selective sorting, easy composting and recycling of our waste
- Wood logs at will: In the off-season, wood heating with a high-efficiency stove
- A fresh lemonade or a steaming tea in cocooning mode: South-facing house with double glazing and veranda - Optimal insulation allowing a cool place to live in the summer
- Just what you need: Integrated water saver - Bathroom with shower
- Suitable products and containers: Ecolabelled or eco-responsible household products - Sustainable or compostable containers in your picnic baskets
- On foot, by road or mountain bike: we welcome our customers and guide them toward activities that are respectful of our beautiful area
Guiding you and advising you: we're happy to put you in contact with local partners, such as naturalists or mountain guides - For the pleasure of your taste buds: we're happy to recommend local and short-circuit regional products
We will also be happy to help you discover the hidden treasures of our natural surroundings.
